Dental Implants: A
Recipe for Success
-
Aesthetic concerns with dental
implants
It has been a significant challenge to
provide our patients with predictable success in the esthetic
zone with dental implants. Predictably maintaining hard and soft
tissue health is a reality with the Straumann system. The
SynOcta component system will be discussed to facilitate
fabrication of esthetic and predictable prosthetics for your
patients. Various techniques for the provisionalization and
custom impression copings will also be presented for development
of optimal soft tissue contours.
-
Present status of immediate
placement implants
The current emphasis of immediate implant
placement will be evaluated and discussed. It is a topic that
requires understanding of the limitations of the chosen implant
system and human biology. the focus of this section of lecture
will be techniques to help insure success with immediate
placement, immediate load and immediate provisionalization of
Straumann dental implants. patient treatment will be shown that
will illustrate the basis for success with this treatment
modality.
-
Steps to ensure success with dental
implants
The steps to a successful dental implant
restoration begin with diagnosis and treatment planning. today's
dental implant systems have evolved into a more simplistic
approach such as Straumann concept. the 'team' approach to
treatment planning and the use of simple restorative procedures
will be presented with patient treatment illustrating the
concept and predictable outcome for these patients.
