Tzu Chi Foundation Humanitarian Medical/Dental Mission Trip to Sri Lanka

 

The next medical/dental mission trip to Sri Lanka organised by Tzu Chi Foundation will be from 10th(Wednesday) to 14th March ( Sunday) , 2010.

 

Dental volunteers are welcome to join us for this humanitarian trip to benefit the underprivileged. We will be working from a local hospital, offering surgical, ENT, cataract, dental and internal medicine services.

Dental work includes extractions, surgical removal of teeth, cleft lips ( for the oral surgeons), as well as simple fillings ( both using ART technique as well as normal drill excavations using modern 4th generation field dental chairs).Temporary registration with the local health authorities is a requirement to enable us to practise there.

 

Accommodation will be in local hotels and all-inclusive total costs for the trip will be about SGD$1,000.

As vacancies are limited due to hotel accommodation limits, kindly reply ASAP to avoid missing out a good opportunity to do good for others.
